Week #3 - Journal 52

hi blogland

Am a bit late in sharing this page - oopsies - so keeping it short and sweet.
As you may have noticed I have been following Journal52 and having a go at each weeks prompts, you can find week 3's prompt here

It's a prompt based in memory of the legend that is David Bowie, may he R.I.P, we had to quote a song lyric, could be one of his or any of our choosing.
Any one who knows me is fully aware of my passion for music, I listen to pretty much anything and everything, which makes choosing a lyric from a favorite song next to impossible, HOWEVER I always seem to have the lyric I used in my head ALL THE TIME lol

Recipe
Journal
Dylusion Paint
Mask/stencil
Various pens

New Year New Challenge

Hi bloggers

Happy New Year!!!!
Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas holiday, I know I did.

Do you ever feel like you're fed up with doing the same old thing?
Feeling like something is missing?
On NYE that's exactly how I was feeling so I decided it was time for me to kick myself up the backside and do something about it, I set up a new FB Group called Crafty Creative Chickadees it's just a little place where people can share their creations, get to know like minded people and maybe join in some just for fun challenges
(feel free to join)
I also decided this was the year I am going to actually stick to a resolution of sorts - I am going to complete a yearly journal!
On my travels of blog land and challenge blogs I came across 'Journal 52' and popped along to their Facebook Group and thought it looked interesting so I asked to join in and boy am I glad I did, have met some lovely people already and the level of inspiration is unbelievable PLUS everyone is so encouraging and helpful.
The first prompt of 2016 went up on Friday the 1st - you can find all the info HERE - and I got straight to work.

Here is my first page using 'Word of the Year' Prompt
My word is 'Rebirth' and the quote fit it perfectly.
